Frequently Asked Questions
What is the service life of stretch ceilings? Their service life is not limited. We provide a 10-year warranty for the fabric and mould. But when exploited properly the stretch ceilings can “live” much longer.
How much time does the installation take? Usually the installation of ceilings in a small room takes about 3 hours, depending on the complexity of the ceiling and the condition of the walls.
When is the best time to install the ceilings – before or after reparation? The ceilings can be installed either during the reparation or after it. The only thing required is that the walls are repaired or finished.
What if a pipe leaks in my upstairs neighbors’ apartment? Nothing serious. Moisture or even serious fluxes of water are not a problem for stretch ceilings. On the contrary, “extendable” characteristic of the ceiling will save everything under it by stretching and collecting water like an air-pool.

What if, nevertheless, the neighbors overwatered you? The water coming down from the ceiling will be collected in the ceiling. The stretch ceiling will easily endure the load of 100 kg per one square meter. If the ceiling owner does not manage to flush the water by own efforts through the hole in the luster, our specialists will resolve the problem quickly, as well as they will restore the ceiling.

What lighters can be installed into the stretch ceilings? Any lighters can be installed into ceilings. However it is necessary not to exceed the limit of power of certain lamps – 40 Wt.
How to take care of stretch ceilings? Stretch ceilings do not require a special care. Usually it is enough to wipe the ceiling with a moist cloth using any non-aggressive cleaning agents, and to rub it dry.
Is it possible to install stretch ceilings in any rooms? The stretch ceilings are recommended to be installed in any rooms, habitable ones or offices that comply with all European norms on ecology. It is forbidden to install the stretch ceilings in rooms with extensive temperature, and in unheated rooms with the temperature below zero.
Will the ceiling be lower after the stretch ceilings are installed? When installing stretch ceilings a mould is fitted. It is 3.5 cm wide. In fact the ceilings will lower the height of the room by not more than 3-4 cm; only the height of inbuilt lighters (if any) can “swallow” a little more – 10-12 cm.
Are there any multi-level stretch ceilings? The plastic of ceilings is multisided, and this allows to install ceilings of almost any projected configuration, like, for example, multi-level bends. Various combinations of stretch ceilings with gypsum board are created, and this looks much more interesting than ordinary single-level ceilings.

They say that stretch ceiling does not conduct air? Varnished parquet does not conduct air at all, so do heavy fliselin wallpapers, painted gypsum board or cheap and practical plastic – “wall panel”. Modern synthetic-based materials are produced in full compliance with the requirements of GOST and European ecologic norms; therefore there are no reasons to worry about “breathing” characteristics of stretch ceilings.
